Visiting the dentist in your child’s first year may seem super early, but this is an important time as your child’s baby teeth are appearing. A pediatric dentist will examine the health of your child’s first few teeth.

Pediatric dentists are specially trained and qualified to protect your child’s oral health. Pediatric dentist go to school for a minimum of 10 years. They have an additional two to three years of training, four years of dental school, and four years of college. This training teaches pediatric dentist to deal with behaviors, and help the kids feel comfortable at the dentist.
