The mission of Clubhouse Pediatric Dentistry is to positively improve the lives of the children we care for by providing excellent care in a child friendly environment.
We accomplish this by:
At Clubhouse Pediatric Dentistry we’ve created an environment that promotes a positive attitude toward dental health. We help children achieve good oral health by empowering them to establish appropriate oral hygiene and diet. Childhood caries or ‘cavities’ is the most common chronic childhood disease and has been described by the surgeon general as a “silent epidemic”. It restricts activities at school and home and diminished quality of life. Prevention is a primary focus at Clubhouse Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Jackson utilized cutting edge research to help you prevent this disease for your children.Terminology
Children’s dentistry is just part of what Dr Jackson has specialized. The other part is guiding children through a positive experience in what otherwise might be difficult. One of the ways this is accomplished is he and his staff only use kid friendly terminology.
This contributes to a positive experience and accentuates relatable items that children can understand. There are an array of other words we do not use in our office because they cause fear, anxiety and are otherwise negative. Please support us by using and avoiding certain vocabulary.
He was born and grew up in a great family in Northern Utah. His roots in the Intermountain West developed his passion for: alpine skiing, camping, hiking, rock-climbing, biking and other recreational activities.
He and his wife studied at Weber State University prior to him attending dental school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was there that they welcomed their first two children, “little cheese heads” into their family.
In 2015 Dr. Jackson completed his pediatric dental residency from NYU-Lutheran Medical Center in Yakima, Washington. While in Washington the Jacksons added to their family, “a good apple” baby number three!
Dr. Jackson went a step further than most after his residency and received Diplomate status from the ABPD when he completed the requirements for Board Certification. He has been practicing in Rexburg, Idaho and Jackson, Wyoming since 2015 and expanded to Idaho Falls in 2018. He and his family love being back in the Intermoutain West and have made Eastern Idaho home. Now their family is finally complete with the addition of one more child, “an Idaho spud”!
As Utah natives the Jacksons are avid skiers and die-hard Utah Jazz fanatics! They have loved exploring their new surroundings in Idaho and Wyoming as well as places across the globe. Above all this they value their faith, family and friendships most.
Dr. Jackson loves pediatric dentistry and takes pride in being on the cutting edge of treatment and research. He believes that every child is uniquely created and tailors their treatment according to those needs. He takes time with children and their families to really understand their concerns and answer all of their questions. He strives to make every visit a positive experience at Clubhouse Pediatric Dentistry.
